“I feel the energy coming out of my body like a light bulb”
When I first started yoga (quite a while ago), the feeling was great. After leaving the studio I’d walk down the street and feel like I was walking on a cloud. Such a light feeling.
The feeling of the meditations led by Megan is different. I think the analogy would be like a light bulb and the filament of the bulb is my heart. During and after the meditation it feels like I’m lit up. I feel the energy coming out of my body like a light bulb.

In just the few months Megan has coached me through HeartMath, I have noticed a transformation in the way I understand, process, and work with my feelings and emotions. During my sessions with Megan, I can sense her holding my hand and know she is right by my side, taking this journey with me. This trusting relationship has allowed me to have greater tolerance for negative feelings and how I experience them.
Learning about HeartMath from Megan, I also now understand the connection between emotions and the physiological response they create in the body. In situations that once unraveled me, I know to pause, direct my attention to what’s happening in my body, and use my breath and positive emotion to change its physical response. Using these HeartMath practices, I’ve ultimately been able to gain greater insight about myself and change the way I work through difficult emotions.

Megan is amazing to work with. She made me feel so comfortable as we developed my style profile together. We went through my closet, and Megan pieced together outfits that suit me way better than what I had been wearing the last couple of years. Another set of eyes on my clothes and how I can make them work for me within the context of my newly defined style, has given me a whole new sense of self – a much more confident and comfortable me.
